A great acquisition. Since 2005, the tech giants have taken over 385 companies from the USA.

Alphabet, Apple, Amazon and Facebook have acquired 385 American companies since 2005. The first one (185) has acquired the most, according to the “Quartz” portal.
The big wave of acquisitions is already being analyzed by the US Federal Trade Commission and the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission. The leaders of these tech companies will soon have to explain their monopolistic practices to the US Congress.
These acquisitions have made $86 billion for entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and various investors. This is an incentive for start-up founders, but also a factor that can discourage business activities in the technology sector. Albert Wegner, managing partner at Union Square Ventures, warned that market tycoons create a “death zone” around themselves, meaning that no start-ups operating in their sphere of influence have a chance of success.
