The government is apologizing for windmills. Will wind farms be closer to buildings?

The government hopes that the new regulations will finally allow renewable energy to catch wind in its sails. The industry and investors see these announcements as a sign of hope that the government is changing its approach to renewable energy and wants to meet their needs.

The Ministry of Energy wants to abolish the 10H rule so that wind farms can be built closer to residential areas. However, the residents themselves will have to give their consent to the proximity of the mast and rotors.

When in 2016, members of the Law and Justice party passed the so-called distance law, they argued that wind turbines, which are springing up like mushrooms in many municipalities, often make life difficult for residents and expose them to health risks, among other things due to constant exposure to the noise of rotating blades.
