The call for applications for a grant project implemented by the Industrial Development Agency (Agencja Rozwoju Przemysłu S.A.) has been launched. The Open Innovation Network (Sieć Otwartych Innowacji, SOI) supports the transfer of innovation between technology owners, e.g. companies or research institutions, and SMEs. Buying finished and proven innovations is a good alternative to grants for research and development.

For a good few years now, Poland has been among the moderate innovators - in the Global Innovation Index for 2017, our country ranks 38th (out of 127 possible), in its European equivalent we are fourth from the bottom.
