Anti-crisis shield 2.0 adopted by the Sejm

The introduction of “contribution holidays” for larger companies, increased availability of loans or benefits for farmers - such solutions are provided for in the anti-crisis shield bill passed by the Sejm on the night of Wednesday to Thursday. Several amendments were adopted.
233 MPs voted in favor of passing the bill, 183 voted against it, and 37 abstained. Now the bill will go to the Senate.
The Sejm agreed to introduce several amendments proposed at the second reading, including four prepared by PiS. One of them gives the Prime Minister the power to declare a day off by ordinance in the event of an epidemic emergency or epidemic. Another allows free use of websites belonging to public finance sector entities. On the other hand, the KO amendment supported by the Sejm will allow the repayment of student loans to be suspended for up to six months.
