Poles have created a virtual fitting room. “We help to match the ordered clothes and reduce returns.”

They founded their first companies several years ago. After this experience, the idea for a start-up came up. “To put it simply, we took the idea from life. More specifically, from the problems of matching clothes ordered online, which often meant they had to be returned. One of the project's initiators often struggled with this problem in her company. In many conversations, she suggested that a solution would be useful that would allow for virtual trying on of clothes,” says Katarzyna Burda, one of the founders of WearFits. The start-up is developing a virtual fitting room project.

Grzegorz Marynowicz: When did your business adventure start? Why did you decide to start a start-up instead of working full-time?

Katarzyna Burda: We founded our first companies 14 years ago. They were mainly service companies in the IT and computer graphics industry. Setting up a startup was another well-considered business decision for us. So far, we have run the project within the partner's company and the agreement between the originators, but this year we intend to formalize the business in the form of a company, on the occasion of the first investment round.
