The idea of abolishing the limit on social security contributions, which was torpedoed by the Constitutional Tribunal and criticized by entrepreneurs, has come back like a boomerang. The government is looking for money to finance the so-called “Kaczynski Five”, and the elimination of the so-called 30-fold rule will provide the budget with an additional 5.2 billion PLN net. It is therefore profitable to expose the highest earners, because they will be the ones affected by the controversial change.

Let's recap: in November last year, the Constitutional Tribunal stated that the amendment to the act concerning the abolition of the upper limit of social security contributions is unconstitutional. And the largest organizations associating employers and entrepreneurs did not spare the idea of a harsh criticism.
