Urban planning will enter the digital age

Local plans, condition studies and other spatial planning acts will also have to be prepared in electronic form. This will make it possible to see the extents of existing development plans and related documents on the Internet. These are to be in the form of digital drawings with georeferencing (i.e., entering the map in a coordinate system).

The legal framework for the electronification of planning documents will be created by an amendment to the Law on Spatial Planning and Development (i.e. Journal of Laws 2017, item 1073), which the Ministry of Investment and Development is working on. The draft has just made it to the list of legislative works of the Council of Ministers.
