Kwieciński: Polish economy successfully defies slowdown in the eurozone

The Polish economy may not be completely indifferent to the already visible slowdown in growth in the eurozone, but so far, it has successfully resisted it - said Minister of Investment and Development Jerzy Kwieciński to PAP, commenting on the data on industrial production published on Wednesday by the Central Statistical Office (GUS).

Kwieciński emphasized that today's data on industrial production and construction and assembly production are in line with economists' expectations. They show that the Polish economy may not be completely indifferent to the already visible slowdown in growth in the eurozone, but so far it has been successfully resisting it. “This is evidenced, among other things, by the wide range of industrial production increases in November 2018,” Kwieciński pointed out.
