Kwiecinski: 2018 will see a rebound in investment levels for 2018

The year 2018 will bring a rebound in the level of investment with respect to 2017. The investment potential of our companies should continue to grow, although the mood is being toned down by the increasingly worsening external environment for our companies, according to Investment and Development Minister Jerzy Kwiecinski. He stressed that the growth in business investment expenditures has continued uninterrupted since the fourth quarter of 2017.

Commenting on data published by the Central Statistical Office (CSO), according to which the amount of investment outlays in January-September 2018 increased by 12.4% y/y to PLN 89.6 billion, the minister pointed out that in January-March 2018 the increase was 6.7% y/y, while in January-June it was 10.3% y/y.
