Phenomenal data on corporate investments. Best result in years

Positive news comes from Polish companies. In the first quarter of 2019, they increased their capital expenditures by as much as 21.7 percent year-on-year, according to data from the Central Statistical Office (GUS). This indicates the potential for a positive surprise from investments in the economy as a whole.
In the first three months of this year, companies with more than 50 employees spent 28.1 billion PLN on investments, which was 21.7% higher (in constant prices) than a year ago (in the same period of 2018, an increase of 6.6% was recorded).
