The Fed will pump 2.3 trillion dollars into the economy. There is a new rescue program

The US Federal Reserve will launch a new $2.3 trillion lending program to provide liquidity to small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as local and state governments, in the face of the coronavirus pandemic, the Fed said in a statement on Thursday.
As part of the liquidity support program for local governments, the Fed will offer $500 billion in loans to states and municipalities by directly purchasing that amount of short-term notes from states, as well as large counties and cities.
The Fed has launched a new $2.3 trillion lending program
The loan program for small and medium-sized businesses will provide liquidity of approximately $600 billion.
The Fed also announced an increase in the size and scope of credit lines amounting to $850 billion for corporate primary and secondary markets and a loan program based on asset-backed securities.
