In mid-October, the so-called Anti-Crisis Shield 5.0 was launched, which is aimed exclusively at entities from the tourism industry. In the first days after the launch of this form of support, more than 5,000 entrepreneurs applied for exemption from paying social security contributions for the next 3 months.
The Anti-Crisis Shield 5.0 was launched on October 15th. The aid for companies in the tourism sector includes additional exemptions from social security contributions, downtime benefits and additional downtime benefits.
According to information from the Ministry of Development obtained by the MamBiznes.pl portal, 848 applications for downtime benefits (RSP-DB) and 2,627 applications for additional downtime benefits (RSP-DD) have been submitted to the Social Insurance Institution since the program was launched. At the same time, 5,631 entrepreneurs applied for exemption from the obligation to pay contributions for the period July-September. In total, contributions amounting to PLN 39 million have been waived so far, and PLN 6 million in downtime benefits have been paid out.
