Areas of interest: The fund is willing to invest in industries such as medicine, chemistry, biotechnology, environmental protection, ICT and aviation. However, this does not mean that it is closed to innovative ideas from other sectors of the economy.

Activity: EBC Incubator sp. z o.o. initiates and commercializes innovative solutions with the participation of a team whose activities are mainly focused on providing comprehensive support (consulting, training) to small and medium-sized enterprises at all stages of the companies' introduction to organized trading. Our mission is to develop entrepreneurship based on knowledge and modern technologies.

Origins: The fund was established in 2008, initially under the name IPP sp. z o.o., and then EBC Incubator sp. z o.o., as a subsidiary of EBC Solicitors S.A., listed on the NewConnect market. The extensive experience of the shareholder in investment entries and exits as well as in the analysis of innovative solutions and technology transfer within the framework of investments in SMEs led to the decision to initiate innovative activities in 2012. Initially, it acted as a bridge between authors of innovative solutions and venture capital funds, business angels and other external investors who wanted to invest in innovation. Over time, the company's existing activities have been supported by a strong back up in the form of the shareholder's experience, human and material resources.

What stage of development does a project need to be in? Entrepreneurs who are thinking about setting up their own innovative company can check the feasibility of their business idea and explore the market with us to see if there is a demand for it.

To achieve this goal, the originator submits their project by filling out an application form, which is then evaluated based on detailed criteria:

defining the idea,

determining the key industry of the project,

identifying the innovation of the idea

• market assessment of the commercialization potential of the idea,
• assessment of the degree of involvement of the originator.

After meeting the above criteria, the scope of cooperation and the preparation of a business model (technological, conceptual and business aspects) are discussed at a possible meeting with the Project Coordinator.

Examples of investments:

1. BM3 sp. z o.o. – The company designs, manufactures and programs a range of products based on Bluetooth Smart technology, which are intended for developers, manufacturers and integrators. The business model is based on the sale of Bluetooth Smart devices programmed to work in a mesh network.

2. B-Waves sp. z o.o. – offers comprehensive services related to conducting EEG tests using a mobile phone application. The application is intended in particular for people suffering from epilepsy, as well as for healthy people conducting tests as a hobby to find out their stress or concentration level.

3. Egzaminy Lekarskie sp. z o.o. – is building an online platform and a mobile application that will contain test materials that medical and dental students, as well as people continuing their education in medicine, can use to prepare for their exams. Users will be able to search for exams of interest by organizing the database according to specific data: subject, university, year and type of exam.

4. EpiDoc sp. z o.o. is responsible for the construction and development of an internet platform in the SaaS (Software as a Service) model, supporting the management of epilepsy therapy and the relationship between the patient and the doctor. The portal is dedicated to specialist doctors dealing with the examination of epilepsy and patients with epilepsy. From the patient's point of view, the application will serve as a means of communication with the doctor, allowing the patient to send the results of tests carried out via mobile EEG devices for analysis. In return messages, the patient will receive an up-to-date diagnosis of the course of the disease and recommendations for further treatment from the doctor. The patient will also be able to use the platform to make an appointment with a doctor.

5. IT for SMEs Ltd. – offers IT services to micro and small companies in the form of a comprehensive IT package for new companies, the essence of which is the speed of purchase and configuration, a process that can be carried out in just a few minutes. As a customer in the SaaS (Software as a Service) model, the newly established company is provided with everything necessary from the IT service side in its day-to-day operations, and everything that may happen during the service (malfunctions, software errors) is supervised and repaired immediately by qualified staff provided by the originators.

6. Medlaw Consulting sp. z o.o. is engaged in the construction and development of an online medical consultation service, the direct recipients of which will be law firms and other entities that use medical opinions in their activities. The users of the system will therefore be compensation companies, lawyers and the injured parties themselves.

7. MyBusinessGuide sp. z o.o. – develops and sells online and mobile applications for tourist guides for local companies. The application is mainly aimed at organizers of cultural events, accommodation facilities, restaurants, local tourist organizations, tourist facilities and city guides. By using the app, local companies can provide their customers with practical information about important places and current events in the vicinity of their businesses.

8. Nanostal-Procesy sp. z o.o. is engaged in the development and marketing of a new technology for the nanostructuring of steel using heat treatment. This technology will enable steel products with higher mechanical and functional parameters to be supplied to industry than products manufactured using conventional heat treatment.

9. Parkbox sp. z o.o. – deals with the automation of parking payments. A device in the form of a mobile module, attached to the windshield of a vehicle, will be introduced to the market. It is made of a number of components and a mobile application for payments.

10. Prototype Hub sp. z o.o. – is the first in Poland and unique on a global scale intermediary in ordering 3D prototypes between specialized 3D printing companies and end users. Thanks to offering access to many different technologies and negotiating favorable discounts at printing companies, the customer can fulfill their order while optimizing the costs of printing the prototype.

11. ProtoWEB sp. z o.o. – enables the creation and presentation of ready-made mock-ups in a graphic form to the client by means of a clickable mock-up, thanks to which the process of communication and presentation of the prototype of the website can be carried out during a meeting with the client, which significantly shortens the development time. The creation and sale of the ProtoWEB tool will allow static mockups to be combined and made clickable in the right places. This tool will be available to potential customers in the SaaS (Software as a Service) model.

12. Pylon sp. z o.o. was established to start the production of speakers, using a technologically advanced system for designing, testing and simulating the operation of speakers by the Danish company LOUDSOFT. Thanks to the implementation of technologically advanced solutions, the speakers manufactured by Pylon will stand out for their high sound quality, thanks to which the company will be ready to compete and cooperate with the most prestigious international companies in the audio and related industries.

13. Rendering Max sp. z o.o. – is an entity providing rendering services for advanced 3D graphics. Rendering Max's business model involves the construction of a rendering farm, consisting of many of the most technically advanced rendering stations (computers) currently available, with a total rendering capacity of at least ten minutes of HD video per day. Rendering Max will target its offer to small interactive or advertising agencies, as well as graphic designers - freelancers, who are expected to have many small orders.

14. Room Manager sp. z o.o. deals with the design, construction and sale of a universal, integrated conference room management system based on innovative multimedia and communication systems.

15. Shopscanner sp. z o.o. is introducing a developed tool for automatic recognition of products on shop shelves' photos, which is to serve key corporate sales forces and interviewers from market research agencies. This tool is to support the execution of merchandising audits of points of sale.

16. Sygnis New Technologies sp. z o.o. was established to design, manufacture and sell an innovative product, which is a system built into 3D printers, working in FDM technology, called 3dChanger The system will enable the full 3D printing process to be carried out from design to finished 3D data without the need for a standard external computer.

17. Termo-Systems sp. z o.o. - Chemical production plant whose main purpose is the production of a primer emulsion with thermo-reflective properties. Products with thermo-reflective properties are used to increase the thermal insulation of residential buildings. On the other hand, products with thermo-reflective properties can be used to supplement traditional thermal insulation methods. Termogrunt can be used as a primer for exterior paint that will be applied to a polystyrene-insulated facade. The Termogrunt primer emulsion can be used as a primer for all construction work – interior and facade painting, as well as for painting roofs and wood (e.g. in allotments or holiday homes).
