Activity: Arkley – VC Accelerator specializes in investing in hardware projects. We support companies at an early stage of development, enabling them to expand rapidly in Poland and on global markets. Arkley is a team of experienced entrepreneurs and managers. Over the years, we have built a network of business partners who help our companies develop their business in Europe and the USA, also as mentors. We also have the ArkleyLaunchpad acceleration program, which consists of two parts: operational and investment. During the acceleration program, we want to share our experience and Arkley's network of contacts. Depending on the stage of the startup, we can offer assistance with: product development (prototyping in CEE), production (manufacturers in China), sales (USA and Europe), and raising investment.
Origins: Arkley – VC Accelerator has been operating on the market since 2013. The fund's CEO – Piotr Wąsowski – is one of the longest-serving Business Angels in Poland, having been involved in the industry for over 20 years. The capitalization of the companies he took public is approximately 150 million PLN.
Examples of investments: So far, we have invested in five companies: Zmorph, Bivrost, Tespack, Lovely and Robo Wunderkind. Our most recognizable company is ZMorph, a 3D printer manufacturer from Wrocław. Its value has increased several times over the course of two years, and the printers themselves are already sold in more than 40 countries around the world.
