Goldman Sachs is working on a service that is intended to be like a “data Netflix” for investors.

For several years now, Goldman Sachs has been gearing its activities towards becoming the “Google of Wall Street”. The bank is thus focusing on new technologies - and it appears that, thanks to Goldman, investors may soon be paying for data in the same way as for Netflix or Spotify - in a subscription model...

So far, we only knew that Goldman is building a “Data Lake” that collects information from transactions, emails, markets, investment research, phone calls and text messages. The bank puts all this data in one place and applies machine learning to it....
